Ok lets finish this thought which should be tied into the balance post that I haven't finished yet.
Women have a special power (yes I think in fantasy and manga terms) to calm storms, to will in existence things that shouldn't be. They can get to places that are impossible for me to even consider even getting into with the normal male line of thought and action. If a man were to build an empire, the woman he leaves behind, and yes there is a woman there 90% of the time, she will be able to maintain empire till she passes away.
Oh just in case you didn't catch it, yes there is a woman there helping to build the empire, most don't know it but women are driving forces that don't have to say anything, we (guys) look at them and say "she needs a house" and house in the physical building sense, but more lineage. ( I would love to carry on my Grand Fathers name, he did the damn thang).
